We got another fan submission!! This time it is a Bad Dragon Spritz. Big thanks to the anonymous donor for tossing it into the hoard.
Spritz
the Seadragon
a little about the company
Bad Dragon is a manufacturer that emerged in 2008 and is known for producing fantasy-inspired adult products with a strong focus on customization, artistic design, and community-driven creativity. The company built its identity around turning fictional and myth-inspired concepts into physical designs, often leaning heavily into sculptural detail and distinctive character-driven aesthetics rather than generic form factors.
A major part of Bad Dragon’s catalog approach is its emphasis on variety and personalization. Many of its products are available in multiple sizes, firmness levels, and material options, allowing users to tailor a piece to their preferences rather than settling for a single standardized version. This flexibility has become one of the defining traits of the brand and is often a key reason people explore their lineup in the first place.
The company also operates with a strong connection to its customer base, frequently drawing inspiration from community interest and original character design concepts. This feedback loop between creators and users has helped shape a catalog that continues to evolve over time, with new designs and reinterpretations added alongside established favorites.
Across its history, Bad Dragon has received recognition within its industry, including a reported 14 award-winning products and several award nominations in the last decade, according to their product page at the time of writing this.
At its core, Bad Dragon positions itself as a niche manufacturer centered on fantasy aesthetics, customization, and material experimentation. While its name is highly recognisable to fantasy toy enthusiasts as the first company they heard of in this niche market, the brand’s reputation is largely built on design identity, user customization options, and a consistent push toward more elaborate and stylized forms compared to conventional alternatives.
Delivery
As this product was sent in by a fan who wishes to remain anonymous, and not a package from an official source, we will not cover the delivery and unboxing experience.
Editor’s Note: No matter where you’re shopping from, always give your toy a proper clean before putting it to use. You never know what release agents or manufacturing residue might be lingering, and a quick wash means peace of mind and safer play. Stay naughty, but stay safe!
Measurements
Bad Dragon offers Spritz in four sizes: Small, Medium,
Large and XL. For this review, I was sent the small,
so that is the size I will be focusing on today.
The small measures about seven inches in total length,
with roughly six inches insertable. The tip comes to a
noticeable point at about two inches in circumference
before widening out into a four and a quarter inch corona.
The shaft stays roughly the same, then thickens further
into a six-inch knot.
Texture-wise, Spritz keeps things fairly simple.
There are three ribs running along each
side above the knot and another three sitting
below the corona.
The shaft has an upward curve to it, giving the overall shape a more natural angle. At the base, Spritz uses a thick flat platform measuring roughly three and a half inches long by three inches wide, with about an inch of height to it.

Materials And Maintenance

Bad Dragon uses platinum silicone for all their toys, which is basically the holy grail of toy materials. We’re not talking cheapo food-grade silicone or mystery mixes here. This stuff is the real deal, non-toxic, phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and gentle on sensitive bits. It's also non-porous, which makes it way easier to clean and much safer in the long run. No risk of bacteria hiding out where it shouldn't.
Because Bad Dragon toys are made entirely from silicone, it’s completely waterproof. That means you’ve got options. Whether you’re looking for a quiet night in bed or a chaotic underwater encounter in the tub, this toy is game. Platinum silicone is also temperature-play friendly, holding up under heat and cold with a range from -4°C to 200°C. Dishwasher? Totally safe. Boiling it? Go for it. Just keep it off the bottom... of the pot, Darlings, not you.
Durability-wise, platinum silicone holds up like a champ. Bad Dragon toys don’t break down, don’t get sticky over time, and don’t discolor the way lower-grade toys sometimes do. You can throw a lot at this thing, and it'll still look fresh from the mold. That kind of longevity means you're not just buying a toy, you're adopting a long-term play partner. And if you’re like me and love having a growing collection, it’s nice knowing your older pieces won’t go weird on you in storage.
Cleaning is as easy as it gets. A bit of antibacterial soap and warm water with a soft toothbrush will do the trick for everyday maintenance. If you want to be extra, a quick boil for two to three minutes will fully disinfect it. Just remember to pat your toy dry and stick to water-based lubricants only; silicone lubes and silicone toys are not friends.
Bad Dragon offers Spritz in four firmness options: Extra Soft, Soft, Medium, and Firm. On top of that, they also offer three split firmness variants that pair either an Extra Soft, Soft, or Medium shaft with a Firm base. Unfortunately, I cannot say with absolute certainty which firmness this particular Spritz is, since the sender was unsure when it arrived. After spending some time comparing it against other toys in my collection from a few other brands, I am fairly confident this is a Medium firmness, so that is what I will be basing this section on.
The silicone feels nice. It is not so soft that the shape folds in on itself the second pressure gets applied, but it is also nowhere near stiff enough to feel intimidating. The shaft compresses with a moderate amount of force, bends easily, can be folded back on itself with little effort, and rebounds back into shape.
Even though the knot is the thickest part of the toy, it still has a noticeable amount of give when squeezed. There is enough density to maintain the shape and keep the knot feeling present during use, but enough softness that it does not come across as overly rigid or uncomfortable.

color options
Bad Dragon offers a pretty decent range of color options. There are around fifty preset choices in the main menu alone, covering everything from splits, marbles, and fades to glittery, metallic, and UV-reactive options. If you can't find something you like here, the customization tab opens things up even further with Solid, Marble, Fade, and Special Request options, giving access to roughly forty-two individual colors to work with.
The Solid option lets you choose separate colors for the shaft and base, while Marble and Fade allow you to blend two colors together with a third option available for the base. Special Request gives you a text box where you can describe exactly what kind of color pattern or effect you are aiming for. If you want the base to match the rest of the toy instead of having its own accent color, you can simply uncheck the split base option during customization.
One thing I genuinely like about Bad Dragon’s customization process is the 3D render preview. As you swap colors around, the model updates in real time so you can actually visualize what the finished toy will look like instead of blindly guessing based on tiny color swatches.
I cannot say with complete certainty what color combination my Spritz uses, but I believe it is Onyx and Bone. It is definitely a marble pour, mixing a shimmering opal-like color with black.
other features
Bad Dragon offers a couple of optional add-ons for Spritz depending on size and configuration. A suction cup can be added to any size for an additional $10 USD, and a cum tube option is available on Medium and up for an additional $20 USD.
My Spritz is a standard model with a flat base, so it does not include either of these features. I cannot speak to their performance firsthand in this review, but I am including them here for completeness since they are part of the available options.
Testing and Performance
product design 5/5
The small Spritz keeps things relatively simple. You get a pointed tip, a curved shaft, and a knot overall, not really doing much to stand out in a lineup of knotted toys. However, its size makes it a lot less intimidating for someone curious about knot play but not ready to wrestle a dragon-tail-shaped traffic cone.
The rib detailing above the knot and below the corona helps give the toy a bit more personality without overcomplicating the shape. The texture is noticeable both visually and during use, adding just enough variation to keep the surface from feeling too plain.
Size-wise, the small sits in a very approachable spot. It feels manageable overall, given the firmness, shape, and size. For newer users wanting to experiment with knots for the first time, this feels like a much more realistic starting point than a lot of the options floating around in the white-label market. Personally, if I were specifically recommending it to a complete beginner, I would probably lean toward a softer firmness just to make the experience a little more forgiving around the knot, but even then, I don't think that would be overly necessary.
easy to use 5/5
Spritz is an incredibly easy toy to handle. The pointed tip combined with the rigidity of the silicone, makes insertion feel smooth right from the start, and the tapering shape does a lot of the work for you. The design feels well thought out and makes getting started feel surprisingly natural.
The shape transitions smoothly into the knot. The corona widens slightly before dipping back down into the shaft, so by the time you take the head, the momentum takes you to the knot, and your body has already adjusted to a gradual increase in size. This is because the taper leading into the knot makes a massive difference; it allows the toy to ease its way in instead of feeling like you suddenly slammed into a wall of silicone.
Once the knot passes, the shape becomes very easy to work with rhythmically. The silicone has enough firmness to hold structure, but enough give that movement never feels stiff or uncomfortable. At this size and firmness, I would comfortably place Spritz into the beginner-specialist category. There is still a distinct knotting sensation present, so a complete beginner may need a little patience at first, but for experienced users or someone specifically wanting a first knot toy, Spritz feels very approachable.
sensory quality 5/5
I will be honest, when I test toys, I usually ignore common sense and go in without warming up for my first test. I like seeing how forgiving a toy is when somebody gets impatient and immediately jumps on it. Spritz handled that surprisingly well. The pointed tip and medium firmness made opening up feel easy, even without a proper warmup.
The shape flows extremely well during insertion. The tapered head, followed by the slimmer shaft, builds momentum naturally, so by the time the knot arrives, it feels less like hitting an obstacle and more like the toy guiding you straight into it... or it straight into you depending on how you look at it. The taper leading into the knot is genuinely well designed because the transition feels gradual, letting the knot pop in with ease.
Sensationally, the knot gives a very satisfying stretch without becoming overwhelming. You can absolutely feel it, but it never became uncomfortable or exhausting during testing. The ribs along the shaft are noticeable in a subtler way, adding texture during movement. Once fully inserted, the toy feels comfortable enough to keep moving immediately instead of needing a recovery pause after the pop. I was able to take the knot in only a couple of thrusts, and the pop was eye-rolling but not intense enough for my normal post-pop breather, allowing me to keep the momentum.
The curve also works well in both orientations. Facing toward the body felt slightly more natural for me personally, but both directions remained comfortable during longer sessions.
easy to clean 4/5
Cleaning Spritz is mostly straightforward thanks to the platinum silicone. Warm water and mild antibacterial soap handle the majority of cleanup without much effort, and because the material is non-porous, there is no stress about residue soaking into the toy over time.
The only area that really needs extra attention is the rib detailing. Those grooves do taper in some areas and can trap leftover lubricant, especially around the ribs near the corona. It is not difficult to clean, but it does mean you cannot just give the toy a quick rinse and pretend the job is done.
A soft-bristle toothbrush dedicated specifically to toy cleaning works perfectly here. A few passes through the textured areas clears everything out without damaging the silicone. Once rinsed and dried properly, the toy is ready for storage or another round.

Final Thoughts

Spritz ended up sitting in a very comfortable middle space, and that is really where its strength shows. It is not trying to be the most extreme knot toy in the lineup, and it is not pretending to be something it is not.
Instead, it focuses on a clean progression from tip to knot with enough structure and texture to keep things interesting without overwhelming the experience. That alone makes it easier to recommend than a lot of designs that try to do too much at once.
Across testing, the biggest consistent takeaway is how controlled everything feels. The taper does a lot of the heavy lifting, and the knot follows through in a way that feels predictable. That predictability is not boring; it is what makes the toy usable in longer sessions without needing constant adjustment or recovery. Even when going in without preparation, the experience never felt like it punished that decision, which says a lot about how forgiving the shape is.
The ribbing adds character without taking over the experience. It is present enough that you notice it during movement, but it never competes with the knot or curve for attention. That balance is important because it means Spritz does not rely on texture gimmicks to justify itself. It is still very much a knot-first design, and everything else supports that goal rather than distracting from it.
From a usability standpoint, Spritz lands in a very accessible category. It is approachable enough for someone trying knot play for the first time, but still has enough structure that it does not feel watered down for more experienced users. The Medium firmness choice (at least in this case) reinforces that balance, giving enough give to stay comfortable while still maintaining shape and presence.
Cleaning and maintenance are straightforward, with the only real extra effort going into the rib sections. That is expected for a textured toy and does not really take away from the overall experience.
As a whole, Spritz is not trying to be the most complex or intimidating toy in the collection. It is a controlled, well-balanced knot design that focuses on smooth progression and consistent feel. If someone is looking for a first step into knot toys or just something that does not turn every session into a project, this sits comfortably in that role.
That all being said, the Bad Dragon Spritz scored 19/20, giving it a rating of 9/10.

I am often asked what lube I use for my testing. Honestly, with the amount of monsters, beasts, and fantasy anatomy I put through their paces, I need something that can keep up with me, and Swisok Cum Lubricant has become one of my go-to essentials. It’s thick, creamy, and gives that realistic feel that just makes everything slide into place the way it should.
It’s water-based, body safe, and the pump applicator makes using it stupidly easy, even when you’re already in the middle of wrangling something big. The texture is slick without turning watery and creamy without getting gummy, which is exactly what I need when I’m pushing my limits or breaking in a Lovecraftian horror.
It also comes in two color options. Tied energy is clear blue, cute and fun. My favorite is the realistic cum version, a thick white that adds a visual kick to playtime and just looks right with fantasy toys.
