It uses just two buttons: one for powering on and controlling the telescopic motion, and another for activating external stimulation. However, the lack of a dedicated power button complicates switching between functions. Turning off the device to stop the finger’s motion requires restarting the unit and reselecting the external stimulation pattern, which disrupts the flow of use if focusing on one function.
The bulb’s lightweight yet big design makes it easy to grip during use, while the rhythmic suction from the rosebud creates an engaging sensory experience when fully sealed against the skin. On the downside, the internal stimulation finger’s dual-component structure leaves a thin silicone covering at the joint, leading to minor (not painful) pinching during tighter insertions. A flexible internal sleeve or added outer material could have improved this design aspect.

This rose bud stimulator offers strong yet balanced pulsations, ideal for clitoral and nipple stimulation, with a vacuum-like effect when the ring around the pad forms a seal. The internal finger delivers robust vibrations concentrated at its tip, but its telescopic motion produces noticeable noise (more down below). While effective, the joint’s minor pinch and the loudness of the telescopic mechanism detract slightly from the overall sensory experience.

Thanks to its smooth design, the Pleasure Island is a breeze to clean. A light rinse with warm water and mild soap on a light stream is all it takes to maintain it.
