Each of the four toys in the collection was individually wrapped for extra protection.
The product packaging for each toy is as clever as it is stylish, designed to look like a classic hardback book in a high-end collection. The titles are witty twists on well-known novels, transformed into Moany Dick, Pleasure Island, Anna Karenicum, and The Great Gaspy. Opening each “book” reveals the corresponding toy nestled in a black foam insert, complete with all its accessories and documentation, adding a touch of luxury to the unboxing experience.

Turning the toy on is easy—just hold the bottom button for four seconds, and it powers up in the first mode. (Note: Both the vibration and telescopic motors located in the shaft are married and cannot be controlled separately).
With the device already turned on controlling the ears is exactly the same a single click of the top button will take you to the next preset pattern. Holding down the top button for four seconds will put the external stimulation into standby mode. Similarly holding down the bottom button for four seconds turns off the device completely.

The Great Gaspy features convenient magnetic charging, eliminating the frustration of ruined cords or stripped ports caused by accidental tugs. The charging cord connects effortlessly to the two small neodymium magnets on the base of the handle.

Testing and Performance

The Great Gaspy definitely catches the eye with its modern, stylish design, but using it reveals a few frustrating shortcomings. It’s got some weight to it, but it’s still easy to manage, and the buttons are placed in a way that feels natural during play. The flexible rabbit ears are a thoughtful touch—they bend back fully, which makes them comfortable for various playstyles. However, the control design could use some work. The fact that the main vibration and thrusting functions are tied together on the same button limits your ability to personalize the experience.
The biggest red flag, though, is the construction of the tip. The telescopic action relies on two parts, and the thin material around the separation joint doesn’t inspire confidence. It’s unsettling to feel the moving parts just beneath the surface, especially when the thrusting motor struggles under pressure. If you’re someone who likes intense sessions, the frequent motor lockups can be a real mood killer.

On the surface, the Great Gaspy seems user-friendly. The soft, flexible materials make insertion smooth, and the button layout allows for quick, hassle-free mode switching. The rabbit ears deliver solid external stimulation, which is definitely a highlight. However, where the design falls short is in the removal process. Once the fun is over, pulling the toy out can feel precarious. The weak construction at the tip makes it feel like it might come apart, which adds unnecessary stress to an otherwise enjoyable experience.

When it’s working, the Great Gaspy does a decent job of delivering pleasure. The half-inch thrusting motion combined with powerful vibrations can feel really nice—if the motor holds up. Unfortunately, the telescopic action freezes up under any significant resistance, which interrupts the moment and becomes frustrating fast. While the vibrations in both the shaft and rabbit ears are enjoyable, the mechanical flaws overshadow their potential.

Surprisingly, the Great Gaspy is pretty quiet given its motor-driven thrusting action. Operating at around 72 dB, it’s not completely silent, but it’s discreet enough for most users. While the telescopic motion is slightly louder than other toys, it’s not loud enough to be a dealbreaker.

Final Thoughts
The Great Gaspy shows promise with its sleek design and modern features, but its potential is overshadowed by key performance and mechanical shortcomings. With thoughtful refinements—such as improving motor durability and addressing structural issues—it could evolve into a standout device. As it stands, however, it feels more like an artful concept than a truly reliable sex toy.
While the moments of pleasure it delivers are genuine, the inconsistency and design limitations diminish its appeal. For those who value reliability and customizability in their toys, this one might not fully satisfy. Ultimately, The Great Gaspy is more of a visual statement piece than a dependable addition to an intimate collection.
That all being said the Cliterature Great Gaspy scored 17/25 giving it a rating of 7/10. However, given its shortcomings, I can not recommend this product for anal use.
