Medium Humphrey Review

By: Lechery Review April 23, 2025

Every now and then, a toy lands on my review desk that defies all expectations—and classification. It’s not a dragon, a tentacle, or anything you’d find skulking around in your standard fantasy bestiary. It’s not quite realistic, but it’s not abstract either. It simply... exists. Boldly, confidently, and with the kind of quiet swagger that dares you to define it while it smugly refuses to cooperate.

As a reviewer, I live for moments like this—when a design comes along that shakes up the status quo. There’s a special kind of excitement that comes from exploring a toy that doesn’t fit neatly into any box (metaphorically, at least). It’s weird. It’s wonderful. It’s unapologetically its own thing. And I was intrigued from the moment I laid eyes on it.

This particular piece doesn’t slot into any of my go-to fantasy categories. Its silhouette is unusual, its sensations even more so. It’s the oddball of the bunch, the wildcard. And honestly? That’s where its magic lies. If I had to give it a label, “ogre” might be the closest match.

For today’s review, I’ve teamed up with the folks at Organotoy to take a closer look at their medium-sized model known as Humphrey—a bold, unapologetically girthy piece that’s as attention-grabbing as it is textured. With a thick, bumpy build that doesn’t exactly whisper “subtle,” this toy is clearly here to make an impression—and it’s not the type to wait politely for your approval.

Organotoy kindly provided Humphrey for review, but that doesn’t mean it gets a free ride. I approach every review with the same goal: honest, thorough feedback you can actually use—no fluff, no favoritism. If it shines, I’ll sing its praises. If it stumbles, well... I won’t be shy about pointing that out either.

Whether you’re here as a curious collector, a seasoned fantasy explorer, or just passing by to see what all the bumps are about, stick around. This toy has some serious presence—and I’ve got thoughts.

A little about the company

When it comes to handcrafted silicone toys that balance creativity with quality, Organotoy is a name that stands out. Founded in 2011, this German company has been pushing the boundaries of fantasy toy design, offering made-to-order creations that cater to a wide range of desires. Every product is crafted with care, ensuring a unique experience that’s as visually stunning as it is functional. Whether you’re new to the world of body-safe silicone toys or a seasoned collector, Organotoy’s dedication to quality and artistry makes them a brand worth exploring.

Beyond their commitment to safety and craftsmanship, Organotoy has also earned industry recognition for their innovative designs. They took home the AltStar Award for Fan Favorite Sex Toy in 2022 with their SIS-CAN model, and in 2023, their FairyTree won Fan Favorite Sex Toy Sculpt. These awards highlight their ability to blend imaginative aesthetics with ergonomic functionality, creating toys that not only look incredible but also provide an unforgettable experience. Plus, with worldwide shipping and discreet packaging, Organotoy ensures that fantasy lovers everywhere can enjoy their award-winning creations. Now, let’s take a closer look at one of their standout products.

Delivery

When Organotoy sent us a care package filled with goodies to review, they made sure it arrived in the most discreet way possible. The plain brown box gave nothing away, and even the customs label was subtle—something I always appreciate. It’s clear that Organotoy takes discretion seriously, which is a huge plus for anyone who values privacy when ordering intimate items.

Inside, everything was thoughtfully packed with care. Each toy was individually sealed in a thick plastic bag, complete with an Organotoy sticker for a touch of branding, while tubular bubble wrap ensured they arrived in perfect condition. What stood out to me most, though, was the minimal packaging. Not only does it give the products a sleek and modern feel, but it also reduces unnecessary waste—something I’m always happy to see. Less excess packaging means less impact on the environment, and it's great to see a company keeping that in mind while still delivering a high-quality unboxing experience.

Whats In The Box?

Measurements

Organotoy’s Humphrey comes in four sizes—Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large—but for this review, we’re zeroing in on the Medium. And let me tell you, if this is Medium, I’d love to meet the person who casually calls the Extra Large a “light workout.” This is the size I’ve gotten very up close and personal with—and it’s been a ride.

Despite the humble label, this isn’t your average middle-of-the-road toy. It boasts a total length of eight inches, with six and a half of those being insertable. The head kicks things off with a bold seven and a half-inch circumference—coincidentally, that’s almost the same as my max stretch on some of my biggest knotted toys. It’s not exactly a warm-up piece. From there, it eases down to seven inches just under the head and tapers to six and a half inches toward the base of the usable length, creating a steady but firm descent that still knows how to make an impression.

The base stands at one and a half inches tall and spans a generous four and a half inches across, clocking in at a fourteen-inch circumference—plenty of flair, both literally and visually. Anchoring everything is a sturdy suction cup that measures four by four and a half inches, ready to lock down and hold its ground. Apart from the smooth, bold head, the shaft features a lightly bumpy texture—subtle enough not to overwhelm, but noticeable enough to add a rippling sensation as things move along. It’s a toy that blends brute strength with just enough finesse to keep you on your toes.

Materials and Maintenance

Every Organotoy product is meticulously handcrafted using premium quality silicone, making them a fantastic choice for body-safe pleasure. These toys are free from harmful chemicals, non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and irritant-free, so you can focus on having fun without a single worry. Organotoy goes the extra mile by ensuring all pigments used are mucous membrane safe, which is a huge plus for anyone concerned about what goes into their body.

Because Organotoy uses 100% silicone, their products are completely waterproof, opening up a world of possibilities. Whether you’re enjoying an intimate moment in the bedroom or indulging in some aquatic adventures in the bath or hot tub, these toys are ready to handle it all. Cleaning is a breeze too! For a quick clean, warm water and antibacterial soap do the trick, and a soft-bristled toothbrush can help reach any tricky spots. For a deeper clean, you can boil the toy for 2-3 minutes—just make sure it doesn’t touch the bottom of the pot! After cleaning, gently pat your toys dry and store them safely. And remember, always stick to water-based lubricants to keep your silicone toys in top-notch condition.

Organotoy knows that when it comes to pleasure, one size—or firmness—definitely doesn’t fit all. That’s why they offer a range of silicone options to match your unique tastes and tolerance levels. Whether you’re a fan of soft and squishy, prefer a bit of structure, or live for the kind of rigidity that could double as a paperweight, Organotoy has you covered. Their firmness menu includes Soft (00-30), Medium (Shore A5), Hard (Shore A10), and for those who laugh in the face of resistance, Very Hard (Shore A30).

For this review, I’m working with the Medium firmness—Shore A5—because that’s what Humphrey showed up in. And let me just say, it’s a very agreeable middle ground. A5 hits that sweet spot between cozy and confident: it’s got enough give to keep things comfortable, but enough backbone to handle business. If you’ve ever wanted your toy to feel like a determined stress ball with something to prove, A5 delivers.

The surface has that lovely velvety drag silicone fans will recognize and appreciate. There’s just enough friction to highlight the texture without dragging you into rough territory. With a toy as girthy as Humphrey, the balance of pressure and pliability that A5 provides really shines. It gives you the sensation you’re looking for while sparing you from the internal equivalent of hitting a brick wall.

Colors and Options

Organotoy truly believes that pleasure is personal, and they’ve made it their mission to ensure your toys are as unique and vibrant as you are. With a jaw-dropping selection of 45 standard colors, you can mix and match one, two, or even three colors for a striking look—or leave it up to fate with the surprise or airbrush options if you’re feeling bold! But wait, there’s more—Organotoy’s FAQ page reveals their creative streak runs even deeper. Thanks to their use of mica pigments, they can whip up just about any color your heart desires. Want your toy to glow ominously in the dark? No problem! Choose from pink, blue, or green glow-in-the-dark options for a playful twist. On top of that, you can level up your Humphrey’s aesthetic with marbled patterns, bold split designs, or a dreamy soft transition blend. If your imagination’s running wild, just reach out directly, and Organotoy will bring your fantasy to life!

But customization doesn’t end with colors—Organotoy lets you add even more versatility to your Humphrey with the option of a Vac-U-Lock hole. This clever addition opens up a whole new realm of play possibilities. Attach your Humphrey to a sex machine for a hands-free ride or slide in a small vibrator to intensify every ripple and ridge. It’s a surefire way to dial up the fun and make your playtime even more thrilling. If you’re keen to unlock these extra options, just contact Organotoy directly to get your custom masterpiece started.

Suction Cup

The Humphrey comes equipped with a seriously sturdy suction cup—measuring four inches by four and a half at its widest point, it’s built for more than just good looks. This thing means business.

Naturally, I had to put it to the test. So I rigged it to a ten-pound box using a Solo Saddle and gave it a good, hearty shake—none of that dainty tugging. I’m talking full-body, borderline aggressive yanks. And you know what? Humphrey held firm. It lifted the box clean off the ground multiple times without even batting an eye. Only after several intense jolts did the suction finally give way.

I repeated the test five times, and Humphrey’s performance remained consistent. On its best run, it took seven hard shakes to pop free; on the lowest, four. Worth noting: the Solo Saddle’s play surface is just a tad wider than Humphrey’s base, which may have affected the seal. Even so, that’s an impressive level of grip.

All in all, this suction cup is more than up to the task for standard use. Unless you’re planning to reenact an action movie chase scene in your shower, this base is likely to stay put—and then some.

Testing and Performance

product design 4/5

With its bold silhouette, thick head, and smooth taper, Humphrey doesn’t just walk into the fantasy toy lineup—it makes an entrance. That wide, rounded head is built to stretch and satisfy, delivering a full-bodied sensation as it moves in, and a pop-worthy payoff on the way out. The gradual taper toward the base helps ease the experience without compromising on intensity, making the exit feel just as good as the entry (if not better). The bumps along the shaft are subtle enough not to overwhelm, but distinct enough to add texture and intrigue. And let’s not forget the suction cup—it’s got a reliable grip that doesn’t quit under most circumstances.

Despite the “Medium” label, this toy feels more like a generously-sized Large in practice. Beginners beware—Humphrey doesn't tiptoe in. But if you’re into a more robust experience and enjoy toys with a little heft, the design hits the mark.

easy to use 4/5

This isn’t the kind of toy you pull out on a whim. The girth, especially at the head, requires patience and prep— a warm-up is definitely essential. But that’s not necessarily a downside. Once you're past that initial stretch, the rest of the toy offers a more manageable ride. And that same hefty head? It works double-duty by preventing unwanted slip-outs and delivering a delicious “pop” on the way back out. It’s the kind of toy that rewards slow, intentional play rather than fast-and-loose antics.

That said, if you’re new to thicker toys or jumping up in size, this might take some getting used to. A little lube and a lot of communication with your body go a long way here.

easy to clean 5/5

Now here’s a place where Humphrey really shines. With no deep grooves, crevices, or overly complex textures, cleaning is quick and painless. A good rinse with warm water and antibacterial soap will get the job done, and it’s boil-safe too—just make sure it doesn’t touch the bottom of your pot. This kind of thoughtful design makes post-play cleanup feel less like a chore and more like a quick victory lap.

Sensory quality 4/5

Humphrey is all about sensation. The thick head provides a substantial stretch at the start, and it’s surprisingly effective at targeting those deeper areas for a fuller, more satisfying fill. The mild bumps along the shaft produce a gentle ripple effect during movement—not aggressive, but enough to keep your nerve endings guessing. If you’re the type who enjoys toys that “do something” without being too chaotic, this design strikes a good balance.

The sensory payoff is real, but it does require some setup—especially if you’re not used to toys of this girth. Once you’re in the zone, though? It’s a trip worth taking.

pros

    1. Bold design with satisfying stretch and a “pop” on exit

    2. Forgiving texture that adds sensation without overwhelming

    3. Reliable suction cup

    4. Very easy to clean

cons

    1. Size might be too much for some (despite the “Medium” label)

    2. Requires warm-up and prep before play

    3. Not ideal for beginners or quickies

Final Thoughts

When it comes to bold designs and memorable textures, the Humphrey doesn’t just knock—it kicks the door in and announces itself with a wink. This toy straddles the line between challenging and rewarding in all the right ways, delivering an experience that feels carefully crafted for those who like their toys with a little heft and a lot of personality. It’s not here to blend in—it’s here to make an impression, and honestly? Mission accomplished.

The thick head is absolutely the star of the show—commanding attention from the moment of entry and giving a dramatic encore on the way out. That satisfying “pop” is worth the hype, and the gradual taper that follows makes the rest of the ride feel manageable (and surprisingly forgiving) by comparison. The texture adds a bit of flair without stealing the spotlight, which is great if you like sensation without sensory overload.

Firmness-wise, the Medium (Shore A5) really hits a sweet spot for me. It’s firm enough to hold shape and provide structure during use, but not so stiff that it feels punishing. Add in that rock-solid suction cup and we’ve got ourselves a toy that can take a few knocks and still stand its ground. It’s a toy that feels solid, dependable, and clearly designed with actual use in mind—not just to look pretty on a shelf.

Overall, the Medium Humphrey might not be for everyone, but if you’re into thick toys that bring a bit of drama (in the best way), this one’s absolutely worth a look. It’s the kind of toy that asks for your full attention—and rewards it with one hell of a stretch.
