Butt plugs have been around a lot longer than most people realize. Originally introduced in the late 1800s as medical devices for everything from constipation to “nervous conditions,” they slowly slipped out of the doctor’s office and into the bedroom, where they found a much more exciting purpose. Over the decades, they’ve gone from taboo curiosities to everyday pleasure tools, with designs now ranging from simple, smooth starters to elaborate fantasy shapes that look like they crawled out of another dimension. In other words, plugs have come a long way, and so have the people using them.

For today's review, we will be taking a look at the Wildolo Devilknot Butt Plug Set, a T-flared, tentacle-inspired gauging kit meant to help you stretch comfortably toward bigger goals.
A Little About The Company
Wildolo emerged in 2021 from the innovative minds behind Hismith Technology Co., Ltd., renowned for revolutionizing the erotic industry with high-end sex machines. Based in Shenzhen, China, Wildolo is a brand crafted to explore the untamed corners of adult pleasure. Taking customer feedback to heart, they transformed user requests for more unique, imaginative toys into a line of fantasy-inspired, app-controlled vibrators and dildos. These aren’t your standard designs; Wildolo toys are meticulously crafted to cater to every mood and desire, whether that’s something refined, monstrous, or downright otherworldly.
Wildolo's app, available for both iOS and Android, elevates their collection further by allowing users to personalize every experience. From setting vibration patterns to sharing toy control with a partner, the app invites users into an interactive world where pleasure is fully customizable.
Delivery
The Plug Set showed up in the classic brown Amazon box, doing its best impression of “just another boring household delivery.” Your mail carrier would never guess that inside was an Eldritch little training kit for adventurous butts. That’s one thing I’ll give Amazon packaging credit for; it keeps your secrets safe.
Once inside, things stayed pretty low-key. Unlike some of the other Wildolo toys I’ve unboxed that came with flashier presentation, this one kept it minimalist. The product box itself was plain brown with just a simple logo band wrapped around it. My best guess is that the stripped-down design had more to do with timing than intent. This product was still pretty new to the market when it arrived, and it’s possible the standard packaging just wasn’t ready yet. That’s speculation on my part, not a guarantee, but it would explain the barebones vibe.
Cracking it open, I found the essentials neatly tucked away. A slim user manual sat on top, and beneath it were three clear sealed bags, each holding one of the plugs. Individually packed, easy to identify, and honestly, it felt a bit like opening a sci-fi specimen kit rather than a toy set. It’s straightforward, functional packaging, but with that little spark of curiosity that makes you want to tear right into the silicone goodness.
Measurements
The Wildolo Devilknot Plug Set comes with three sizes in the box: Small,
Medium and Large; while the XL gets to lurk off on its own, sold
separately, like the final boss you have to unlock later.
Between the three included sizes, there’s a nice progression for anyone
looking to work their way up without feeling like they’re jumping from “cute
little seed” straight to “eldritch beast mode.”
Each plug follows the same design language: a curved, tapered body
with a bit of subtle vein texture, plus a semi-deep groove that runs along
the outer curve. The base has a knotted bulge that gives you that extra
stretch going in and out, while the T-flare sits at the bottom to keep things
secure and stop the plug from venturing off into uncharted territory.
Visually, they remind me of seeds or maybe the hook pads of a displacer
beast’s tentacle, alien but oddly inviting.

As for the numbers:
-
Small: Five and a half inches total length, four and a half insertable, with a circumference of five inches at the thickest point.
-
Medium: Six inches total length, five and a half insertable, with a circumference of six and a half inches.
-
Large: Seven and a half inches total length, six and a half insertable, with a circumference of seven and a half inches.
Even at their biggest, these plugs are pretty approachable. The Large, for example, only starts out with a tip diameter of about three-quarters of an inch, so the entry isn’t intimidating. Instead, the stretch builds as you work down the shaft, which makes the set feel more about gradual training and exploration than brute force.

According to Wildolo, this set is made from platinum-cured silicone, which is the gold standard for body-safe toys. That means no sketchy chemicals, no mystery fillers, and no worries about irritation. It’s hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and built to last, which is exactly what you want in something that’s going to spend quality time with your insides.
Being one hundred percent silicone also means these plugs are fully waterproof. Whether you’re a bedroom-only explorer or someone who likes to take their adventures into the shower or hot tub, they can handle it without issue. I didn’t have to baby them or stress about where I was using them, which is always a plus.
Cleaning is straightforward, too. A little antibacterial soap with warm water and a soft brush will do the trick for everyday use. If you want to go full scorched-earth on germs, you can disinfect them by boiling for a couple of minutes; just make sure they aren’t touching the bottom of the pot unless you enjoy the smell of scorched silicone. After that, pat them dry and tuck them away until your next summoning ritual. And of course, since they’re silicone, stick with water-based lube to keep everything smooth and safe.
Materials And Maintenance
The silicone on these plugs sits in that medium firmness range, though how it feels really depends on the size you’re holding. The Small has that soft, squeezable vibe; almost like a stress ball you’ve been fidgeting with for weeks. Once you move up to the Medium and Large, the extra mass gives them noticeably more firmness, which makes them feel sturdier and a bit less forgiving.
That shift in firmness actually works in the set’s favor. The softer Small is welcoming and easy to warm up with, while the firmer Medium and Large give you more of that solid stretch and presence once you’re ready to move up. They still have enough flexibility to bend with your body, but the larger sizes definitely carry more weight and resistance, making them feel more deliberate during use.
Overall, the silicone keeps things body-safe and body-aware, adapting to your movements without feeling either too floppy or too rigid. It’s a clever progression; starting out soft and approachable, then gradually becoming firmer as you advance through the sizes, matching the training-focused design of the set itself.

Testing and Performance
product design 5/5
The Wildolo Devilknot has some clever design choices baked in. Each size starts with a slim, friendly tip that makes the first push feel very approachable, even for beginners. Instead of forcing you straight into the knot, the taper gives you extra runway to stretch gradually before the bulge arrives. The knot itself isn’t oversized compared to a standard plug, so it feels more like a twist on the familiar than a leap into uncharted territory. The curved body nestles in comfortably, making it a solid choice for longer wear sessions. Gauging up feels smooth, too. The jump from Small to Medium is noticeable but not overwhelming, and the step to Large has a nice, satisfying stretch without feeling like it’s out to punish you.
easy to use 5/5
The firmness balance here really works. The silicone is stiff enough to guide the tip in without collapsing or flopping around, but still forgiving enough to flex with your body. Insertion feels natural, especially with the narrower tips. Wearing the Small plug for hours (even on errands) was surprisingly comfortable. Scaling up to the next size feels intentional rather than daunting, with each knot widening only slightly beyond the one before. By the time you’re halfway down the shaft of the larger size, you’ve already matched the stretch of the previous toy, so it never feels like you’re being thrown in the deep end.
sensory quality 5/5
The silicone has that soft, velvety texture that’s immediately pleasant in your hands and inside your body. The groove running along the side adds an unexpected layer of stimulation, brushing against the inner wall just enough to make its presence known. The vein details don’t do much in practice, but that’s fair; these plugs are meant to sit in place, not pump in and out like a dildo. For stretching, though, the design really shines. The steady, logical progression makes this set my new favorite for warming up before tackling bigger toys.
easy to clean 4/5
Maintenance is simple thanks to the platinum-cured silicone. Warm water and mild soap get rid of most of the mess without fuss, and the material doesn’t hold onto lube the way some blends do. The only catch is that the deep groove loves to trap a little extra slick. Nothing a soft-bristled toothbrush can’t handle, but it does add an extra minute to cleanup. Still, once rinsed and patted dry, the set is good to go for storage or round two.
pros
-
Smooth, approachable taper for each size
-
Gradual, logical progression makes gauging easy
-
Comfortable for long-term wear
-
Soft, velvety silicone with body-safe firmness
cons
-
Groove collects lube and needs a little extra scrubbing

Final Thoughts

The Devilknot set really does what it sets out to do. It is approachable, steady, and thoughtfully designed for people who want to take their time building up to bigger challenges. The sizing progression makes sense, the tips are kind to your body, and the knots give you just enough to bite down on without making you regret your life choices. For a training kit, that balance is key, and Wildolo managed to hit it just right.
What stood out most to me is how comfortable these plugs are in practice. I wore the Small out of the house more than once, and it behaved itself like a perfect little passenger. The curve and taper mean you are not constantly aware of it in a distracting way, but you also never forget it is there. Moving up in size gave me that nice stretch I was after without tipping into the “ok, that’s enough for today” territory. It kept things fun rather than stressful, which is exactly how gauging should feel.
The sensory details are a mixed bag but in a good way. The velvety silicone feels luxurious, and the groove adds a surprising spark of stimulation. The vein texture, on the other hand, is mostly cosmetic once the plug is in place, but that is not a bad thing. I would rather have a plug that wears comfortably than one that tries to do too much at once. This set keeps its focus where it should be: progressive stretch and reliable comfort.
If I had to nitpick, the groove does make cleaning slightly fussier than a smooth-bodied plug, but that is hardly a dealbreaker. A toothbrush and a little patience are all it takes, and in return, you get a set that will probably become a reliable part of your routine. For me, this kit earns a spot in the drawer I reach for when I know I want to warm up responsibly but still have some fun along the way.
That all being said, the Wildolo Devilknot scored 19/20, giving it a rating of 9/10. and i highly recommend this product for beginners and experienced users alike.
