If you read my review of Seth, you'll already know the story behind my recent interactions with Master4Fancy. Seth was the toy I ultimately chose with my giveaway winnings, but that wasn't the only toy that ended up making its way across my desk.
After I finalized my prize selection, the folks at Master4Fancy reached out and offered to send over another toy for review. Naturally, I wasn't about to turn down the opportunity to spend some extra hands on time with one of their creations.
So now that Seth's review is out of the way, it's Mermaid's turn in the testing chair.
a little about the company
Founded in 2019, Master4Fancy holds the distinction of being China's first original fantasy toy brand. Created by a team of women and queer artists, the company grew out of a desire to make fantasy-focused toys that embraced imagination, creativity, and personal expression in a market where those ideas were often overlooked.
Master4Fancy builds entire characters around each design. Every toy comes with its own lore, artwork, and color schemes, creating the feeling that you're collecting a character rather than simply ordering another toy off a shelf. Whether it's mythical creatures, cyborg beasts, monsters, or figures inspired by folklore, storytelling sits at the heart of nearly everything they create.
That creative focus can be traced back to the company's origins. The founders first gained attention through their work in sex and gender education, where discussions about fantasy, desire, and sexual expression revealed a gap in the market. Fantasy toys were virtually nonexistent in China at the time, particularly products that catered to women, LGBTQ+ customers, and anyone whose interests extended beyond conventional designs. Instead of waiting for someone else to fill that niche, they decided to create it themselves.
Customization is another major part of the experience. Most toys are available in multiple sizes, firmness options, and color combinations, allowing buyers to tailor a design to their own preferences. Because each piece is hand-poured and individually crafted from body-safe platinum-cured silicone, no two toys are completely identical. Minor variations in color blending and finish are part of the process, giving each piece a slightly unique character of its own.
What ultimately makes Master4Fancy stand out is how much emphasis they place on imagination. Their catalog feels less like a collection of products and more like a gallery of characters, each with its own identity, artwork, and story waiting to be explored.
Delivery
The package from Master4Fancy arrived in a plain brown shipping box wrapped in black plastic.
Opening the box revealed one of my unexpected weaknesses: heart-shaped bubble wrap. I will admit that it took a surprising amount of self-control not to immediately start popping every single bubble before looking at anything else.
Almost everything was packed inside a black mesh zip-up storage bag featuring the Master4Fancy logo embroidered on the front. Tucked underneath were several pieces of artwork and informational material, including Mermaid concept cards and product care information.
Digging through the contents felt a little like opening a loot chest. The first items out of the bag were an enamel pin featuring Medusa, a sticker of Anubis, and a miniature figure of Medusa. Those were followed by another sticker, a user manual, three additional stickers, a miniature figure of Flash of Prey, a second enamel pin featuring Anubis, and yet another sticker. By this point I was starting to wonder if Master4Fancy had simply decided that there is no such thing as too many extras.
The final item inside the mesh pouch was a second storage bag. This one was considerably more luxurious, made from black velvet with the Master4Fancy logo embroidered on the front and lined with a gold satin interior. Inside were the stars of the show: Mermaid in size small and Seth in size small, both neatly tucked away and ready for a closer inspection.
As unboxing experiences go, this one felt surprisingly generous. Between the artwork, pins, stickers, miniatures, and multiple storage options, there was a lot more waiting inside the box than just the toys themselves.
Editor’s Note: No matter where you’re shopping from, always give your toy a proper clean before putting it to use. You never know what release agents or manufacturing residue might be lingering, and a quick wash means peace of mind and safer play. Stay naughty, but stay safe!

Measurements
Master4Fancy offers Seth in two sizes: Small and
Medium. For this review, I opted for the Small version,
largely because there is roughly a $54 USD ($74 CAD)
price difference between the two sizes. My wallet had
opinions, and unfortunately it gets a vote.
In Seth's case, size is a bit of a relative concept anyway,
considering we're dealing with a dual-shaft design rather
than a single piece.
Each shaft on the Small measures approximately six and
a half inches of usable length, while the overall length of
the toy comes in at roughly seven and a half inches.
Individually, each shaft starts at about one and half inches in circumference near the tip before gradually widening to around four inches at the base, and feature a S like curve.
Together, the two shafts measure approximately two and a half inches in circumference at the tips and expand to a substantial six and a half inches in circumference where they meet at the base.
The detailing on each shaft is noticeably different, giving Seth a more dynamic appearance. The right shaft features four dragon-like scoots running from the tip to roughly one-third of the way down. Beyond that, the surface transitions into raised tribal-style markings that reminded me somewhat of Mayan-inspired artwork.
The left shaft takes a different approach, featuring two larger scoots, each ending in three pointed tips. Running down the remainder of the shaft is a series of raised markings that resemble stylized flames or tribal fire patterns.
Both shafts emerge from what appears to be a lotus flower-inspired base. The base measures approximately one inch
tall and features a flat bottom measuring about two and a half inches in diameter, allowing the toy to stand upright when
v displayed. there is a suction cup add-on available for $16CAD ($11USD) here
From a design perspective, Seth delivers a nice balance between fantasy aesthetics and practical proportions. The dual-shaft layout is obviously the star of the show, but the asymmetrical detailing helps keep both sides visually interesting instead of feeling like mirrored copies of one another, and provide a difference in stimulation.

Materials And Maintenance
Master4Fancy uses platinum silicone for all their toys, which is basically the holy grail of toy materials. We’re not talking cheapo food-grade silicone or mystery mixes here. This stuff is the real deal, non-toxic, phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, and gentle on sensitive bits. It's also non-porous, which makes it way easier to clean and much safer in the long run. No risk of bacteria hiding out where it shouldn't. Master4Fancy also only uses cosmetic-grade pigments.
Because Master4Fancy toys are made entirely from silicone, it’s completely waterproof. That means you’ve got options. Whether you’re looking for a quiet night in bed or a chaotic underwater encounter in the tub, this toy is game. Platinum silicone is also temperature-play friendly, holding up under heat and cold with a range from -4°C to 200°C. Boiling it? Totally safe. Dishwasher? Go for it. Just keep it off the bottom... of the pot darlings not you.
Durability-wise, platinum silicone holds up like a champ. Master4Fancy's toys don’t break down, don’t get sticky over time, and don’t discolor the way lower-grade toys sometimes do. You can throw a lot at this thing and it'll still look fresh from the mold. That kind of longevity means you're not just buying a toy, you're adopting a long-term play partner. And if you’re like me and love having a growing collection, it’s nice knowing your older pieces won’t go weird on you in storage.
Cleaning is as easy as it gets. A bit of antibacterial soap and warm water with a soft toothbrush will do the trick for everyday maintenance. If you want to be extra, a quick boil for two to three minutes will fully disinfect it. Just remember to pat your toy dry and stick to water-based lubricants because silicone on silicone is a big no-no.
Master4Fancy offers Seth in four firmness options: Super Soft (Shore 00A), Soft (Shore 2A), Medium (Shore 5A), and by special request, an even firmer Shore 8A silicone.
For this review, I chose the Soft firmness. It sits in the middle of the available range, and when I'm reviewing a toy, I generally prefer the option that I think most buyers are likely to choose. All observations from this point forward are based on the Soft version.
The first thing I noticed was just how squishy the silicone is. Seth can be compressed, folded, and even balled up with very little effort. There is a surprising amount of give throughout the entire toy, including the thicker portions near the base. The material rebounds well when released, but it definitely prioritizes softness over structural rigidity.
My initial reaction was a mix of optimism and curiosity. On one hand, softer silicone tends to be more forgiving and comfortable, especially on larger fantasy designs. On the other hand, extremely soft toys can sometimes have a habit of bending, flexing, or wandering off course when you want them to hold their shape. It left me wondering whether Seth's softness would be an advantage, a drawback, or a little bit of both once testing began.
As for the texture work, the raised scales, ridges, and tribal-style detailing are all easy to feel under a fingertip. None of the features are particularly sharp or aggressive, but they are distinct enough that you can clearly tell they're there. At this stage, my biggest question was whether the softer silicone would allow those details to remain noticeable during testing or if some of the sensation would be muted by the material's generous amount of give.

color options
Master4Fancy offers Mermaid in six signature color options, along with a custom surprise option for those who want something completely unique.
The standard choices are Natural, Fantasy, Rosy Reverie, Azure Gild, Flora's Kiss, and Muddy Puppy.
Fantasy features a swirl of blue and pale purple, Rosy Reverie combines a white base with pink highlights, Azure Gild uses a white and gold marble pattern, Flora's Kiss blends fluorescent yellow-green with peach tones, and Muddy Puppy mixes grey and white into a marbled finish.
For those looking for something more personal, Master4Fancy also offers a surprise custom option. Customers can provide color preferences, pattern ideas, and reference images, allowing the team to create a one-of-a-kind pour based on those suggestions.
For this review, I naturally chose the Natural colorization. I've always had a soft spot for the fire-and-ice aesthetic, and this blue and orange split shaft design immediately caught my attention while I was narrowing down my choices. The contrasting colors help draw attention to the sculpted details throughout Seth, making the scales, ridges, and raised textures stand out nicely across both shafts.
Testing and Performance
product design 4/5
The Small Master4Fancy Seth is definitely an interesting design that piqued my interest, which is impressive in its own right given how much of the fantasy toy scene I've seen over the years. It takes quite a bit these days to make me stop scrolling and take a second look.
The very thin tips and gradual taper make Seth approachable if you're using a single shaft. Add the second shaft into the mix and it becomes an excellent option for working your way up to larger sizes or getting accustomed to dual penetration without immediately diving into the deep end.
The S-curve of the shafts, combined with the soft silicone, makes Seth extremely beginner-friendly. Rather than trying to force its way through your body's natural curves, the toy wants to work with them. The downside is that soft silicone can sometimes be a little too cooperative. When the shafts encounter resistance, particularly during anal use, they tend to bend rather than push forward, meaning guided entry is required.
That same softness creates an unexpected benefit, though. With a little extra lubricant, the shafts have a tendency to slither and slide across the body, creating a unique external sensation that adds another layer to the experience. It is one of those cases where a characteristic that can be frustrating in one situation becomes a strength in another.
easy to use 4/5
This section ended up being a bit of a mixed bag.
Using a single shaft was relatively straightforward. The thin tip required only minimal guidance and made initial entry easy enough. Once both shafts entered the equation, however, things became considerably more challenging.
The soft silicone that makes Seth so comfortable also makes it harder to control. I found it increasingly difficult to keep both shafts aligned at the same time, especially while using my testing chair. The flexibility that felt so forgiving during single-shaft use became a bit of a wrestling match when trying to manage both simultaneously.
Unfortunately, this often left me relying on standing entry instead. As anyone who has handled a heavily lubricated silicone toy can probably guess, that came with its own set of challenges. More than once Seth decided it had other plans and made a sudden trip to the floor.
If I were purchasing Seth again, I would almost certainly opt for a firmer silicone. I think the added rigidity would make managing both shafts significantly easier without sacrificing too much comfort.
sensory quality 5/5
Internally, the detailing is more noticeable than I initially expected. The raised textures create subtle waves of sensation as the shafts move, preventing the experience from feeling completely smooth or uniform.
When using both shafts together, I found they naturally wanted to press against one another and move as a pair. Because of this, the sensation often felt closer to a single larger shaft rather than two completely independent points of stimulation.
Externally, Seth really comes into its own. Thanks to the soft silicone and flexible design, the shafts have a tendency to move around when not held firmly in place. This creates an almost animated feeling, as if the toy has a mind of its own while it shifts and slides across more sensitive areas. creating a sensation that is unparalleled.
The only improvement I would personally suggest would be the option for split firmness. Having one shaft cast slightly firmer than the other could create a more dynamic experience, with each side providing a different amount of pressure and drag. That's purely my reviewer brain wandering into "what if?" territory, though, and it does not affect the score.
easy to clean 4/5
Since Seth is made from platinum-cured silicone, cleaning is mostly straightforward. Warm water and a mild soap take care of the majority of the work.
Even the raised textures along the shafts are shallow enough that they do not require any special attention. The biggest cleaning challenge comes from the decorative base. While the lotus-inspired design looks fantastic, the petals create several small crevices that seem determined to hold onto any leftover lubricant.
Thankfully, a soft-bristle toothbrush reserved for toy cleaning makes quick work of those areas without risking damage to the silicone. After a rinse and thorough drying, Seth is ready to return to storage or prepare for its next adventure.

Final Thoughts

Going into this review, Seth caught my attention because of its unusual dual-shaft design. After spending time with it, I can safely say that it delivers a very different experience from most fantasy toys currently on the market.
What impressed me most was how approachable the design feels despite looking somewhat intimidating at first glance. The thin tips, gradual taper, and extremely soft silicone make it far more beginner-friendly than its appearance might suggest. Whether you're looking to experiment with dual penetration, work your way toward larger toys, or simply enjoy a design that stands out from the crowd, Seth offers something genuinely unique.
The soft silicone ended up being both the toy's greatest strength and its biggest weakness. On one hand, it creates a comfortable, body-friendly experience and allows the shafts to move naturally with the body's curves. On the other, that same flexibility can make dual entry more challenging than I would have liked, requiring extra patience and guidance to keep everything on track.
I was also pleasantly surprised by the texture work. Given how soft the silicone is, I initially expected much of the detailing to disappear during use. Instead, the scales, ridges, and raised patterns remained noticeable enough to add character to the experience without becoming fading into the background.
Outside of the toy itself, Master4Fancy continues to impress with its presentation. Between the artwork, miniatures, enamel pins, storage bags, and overall attention to detail, opening the package felt less like receiving a toy and more like receiving a collector's item. The company's emphasis on character design and storytelling is evident from the moment the box arrives.
While I would personally choose a firmer silicone if I were ordering Seth again, the overall design left a positive impression. It is creative, visually striking, surprisingly beginner-friendly, and unlike anything else currently sitting in my toy chest. In a hobby where it takes a lot to genuinely surprise me anymore, Seth managed to do exactly that.
That all being said, the Master4Fancy Seth scored 17/20, giving it a rating of 9/10. And I highly recommend this product for beginners and experienced users alike.

I am often asked what lube I use for my testing. Honestly, with the amount of monsters, beasts, and fantasy anatomy I put through their paces, I need something that can keep up with me, and Swisok Cum Lubricant has become one of my go-to essentials. It’s thick, creamy, and gives that realistic feel that just makes everything slide into place the way it should.
It’s water-based, body safe, and the pump applicator makes using it stupidly easy, even when you’re already in the middle of wrangling something big. The texture is slick without turning watery and creamy without getting gummy, which is exactly what I need when I’m pushing my limits or breaking in a Lovecraftian horror.
It also comes in two color options. Tied energy is clear blue, cute and fun. My favorite is the realistic cum version, a thick white that adds a visual kick to playtime and just looks right with fantasy toys.
